Teri E. Castro, P.E., is a professional engineer with a vast amount of experience in pedestrian accessibility, utility design and coordination, transportation, traffic design, major and minor roadway design, and construction administration.
Teri has provided engineering services for several clients, including but not limited to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), the City of San Antonio, the City of Houston, Harris County, the San Antonio Water System, and METRO. She has spent her career coordinating with numerous engineering disciplines to complete plans, specifications, and estimates.
She has concurrently overseen multiple sub-consultants, managed schedules, and coordinated with team members and clients to guarantee plan presentation consistency and ensure quality control is addressed. She has managed construction phase services including bid tabulation and recommendation of award, field inspection, review of pay estimates, review and timely response to RFIs, review of material submittals, coordination with inspectors, and preparation of plan of record drawings.
Teri has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She is a licensed civil engineer in Texas and is TxDOT pre-certified in roadway design; traffic engineering studies; traffic control systems analysis, design, and implementation; signage, pavement marking, and channelization; illumination, and signalization.
